in the comments below, lets talk about

What do you see that's cool?

How do you think they were made?

How long do you think it took for the Egyptians to make the pyramids?

Why are there drawings on the tomb?

Do you know what the drawings are called?

In Ancient Egypt, Pharaohs (Leaders) were mummified. The Egyptians believed in the afterlife and thought that all the Egyptian's riches and gold would be needed for the afterlife.

The Egyptian's created the tombs as a place for the afterlife to hold all of the Pharaoh's riches including their bodies. To preserve the body of the Pharaoh as a house to the soul, the Egyptians would remove the heart, brain, and other organs of the Pharaoh and place it in a Canopic Jar.

They would then use oils and cloths to mummify the Pharaoh as preparation for the afterlife.
